Lonely
Librarian Has No Intention of Letting Up
Until recently, San Marino City Librarian Carolyn Crain and her staff
used to welcome over 4,000 patrons weekly. With the library moved
into temporary quarters during construction of its new facility, she's
feeling just a little bit lonely. “I have a feeling that many
of our patrons don’t realize that there is a fully functioning,
temporary library right next door to the construction site,”
says Crain, urging San Marinans to come on in and "check it out".
Tree
Tops New Library!
Those recently driving down Huntington Drive in San Marino might have
done a double take and wondered what fraternity or practical joker
was behind the prank when they spied a tree ? yes, a tree ? atop the
new facility currently under construction for the San Marino Public
Library.
